Keeping cash secure and safe at the till is a business-critical procedure in the retail industry. With the UCC (Universal Cash Cassette), Torex Retail offers an innovative model with quality security and intelligent design features.
The UCC is built using compatible standard measurements. Its hardwearing metal casing contributes to security at the POS and can easily be released from the cash desk. The release mechanism which is integrated into the outer cassette is connected to the printer or till using a simple plug-in connector.
The variable plastic inner cassette with lockable lid improves the ergonomics at the cash desk and offers additional security during transportation. The UCC is a variable cash cassette that combines a large capacity with a space-saving design.
The UCC is suitable for all areas of the retail and hospitality industries where a space-saving solution with a hinged lid is desirable.

Separate base plate
The outer cassette can be
screwed onto the cash desk or locked on the base plate where it was previously mounted. Using the base plate, allows for simple and safe removal of the outer cassette. |

Integrated release mechanism with pluggable connection cables
The electric release mechanism is accommodated securely in the metal casing of the outer cassette. The connection to the printer or to the till terminal is by means of a simple plug-in connection. |

Lockable inner cassette
The inner cassette has an integrated lid which makes a separate cover a thing of the past. For alternating cashiers, all that’s needed are economical additional inner cassettes. The lid is lockable and offers additional security for transportation to the cash office. Retractable handles make it easier to insert and remove the inner cassette.
