New point-of-sale flexibility with AnyPlace POS Hub and AnyPlace Kiosk The new IBM AnyPlace POS solution provides unprecedented versatility for fast-paced retail locations. It incorporates the AnyPlace POS Hub feature, which works exclusively with the new AnyPlace Kiosk system to extend pointof-sale (POS) capabilities virtually anyplace—quickly and easily. This flexibility helps retailers stay ahead of changing customer trends and prepare for growth.

Powerful capabilities for flexibility A wide range of POS peripherals can be connected to the AnyPlace POS solution, including a cash drawer, customer display, keyboard, printer or a second touch screen monitor, depending on a retailer’s needs. This support for a wide range of durable peripherals helps to leverage retailers’ investment in IBM retail peripherals, as these are some of the same peripherals used with many models of the IBM SurePOS™ family.

The AnyPlace POS Hub is rich in features to ensure ease of management. The unit includes five Powered USB ports, a cash drawer port and a lengthy USB cable that connects to the AnyPlace Kiosk. All cables emerge from one side to help simplify placement, and a single secure, yet easy to access on/off button on the AnyPlace Kiosk unit simplifies unit management.

Powered by the ultra-compact AnyPlace Kiosk Designed for outstanding performance and simplicity, the AnyPlace POS solution leverages the innovative AnyPlace Kiosk. Only one platform is required for either kiosk or POS deployment scenarios, which helps lower initial IT investment costs and streamlines system management.
